All BioKai collars are made from BioThane, a stinkproof, waterproof and durable webbing. We do not recommend leaving Biothane on your dog for too long.  Widths 1.5”+ are not recommended for smaller dogs, we recommend 1” collars and lower.
 
Solid brass is an alloy, or mixture of elements, usually composed of copper and zinc, though other metals can occasionally be included. When put under pressure, brass is known to have more "stretch" than other materials; that is, it will flex instead of crack or break. It is therefore the best option for weight-bearing hardware. Additionally, brass has a strong corrosion resistance and is rust proof. With time and contact to the environment, it will acquire a patina or tarnish on its surface; nevertheless, it may be cleaned and polished to bring back its color and luster.
